Day 2 is in the books and as I'm writing this I'm enjoying my breakfast smoothie of my third day. The day 2 smoothies included bananas and I very much enjoyed the flavor. Although the apple skin is getting on my nerves because I'm having to "chew" my smoothie. I was telling this to Nate last night and so he got me an apple and peeled it for today's smoothie... isn't he just too sweet ;-)
Yesterday morning as routine I got up, weighed myself, took measurements, took my photos and then later after I showered I took a close up of my face. I then gagged down the DETOX tea and vowed that I needed to figure out how to make it better or have to go get a different brand. I figured I'd ask the question on the FB support page and happily I received advice on different brands/flavors and then someone who bought the exact kind as me said she tried lemon in it and made it tolerable so that was my step for this morning. **Tune in tomorrow to see if I liked it or not!!
So lets start off with my measurements:
Weight- 133.2lbs
Thighs- 23 in.
Hips- 39 in.
Waist- 27 in.
Biceps- 11 in.
I lost 1.2 lbs from the day before! I'd say that is complete progress! In my other measurements everything stayed the same except my was it. It dropped 0.5 inches. Now this seems a bit much so I either mis-measured or all the bathroom time I did helped with some of my bloating :)

My day again was good with my hunger. I had my three shakes, 3 hard boiled eggs, a handful of peanuts, and some celery with all natural peanut butter. What made my day so difficult was the fact that I put on a beef roast with carrots, mushrooms, baby red potatoes, and corn for Nate at 9am and had to smell it cooking all. day. long!! It was excruciating! Yea so below is what I DID NOT eat for my entire dinner*
Before this all began I asked to Nate to be super supportive and not get on my case for not eating with him or whatever else he might think of to say. And he has been! But whats worse is the fact that as I sit at the "kitchen table" with him while he eats these amazing dinners I'm cooking, I ask for just a sliver of the meat. And pointing to the piece he says, "you want this one right here? OK" and then proceeds to put it on his fork and EAT IT HIMSELF!?!?!?! What the heck dude!!! I'm over here slurping a green smoothie 3x a day and you can't give me a sliver just so I can taste it?!?! Lame**
So while I was packing up this beef roast I couldn't help myself, I did have a bite and when I say bite I mean a BITE (not a chunk or hunk or mouthful) of the beef roast and a half of a mushroom. So I guess you can say on day 2 I cheated but I do not really consider that cheating. An entire meal or a cookie or cupcake, sure I'll agree with you on that, but not bc of eating a bite of beef roast and a mushroom!!
Throughout the day I felt satisfied and continue to drink my water. Yesterday I reached 92oz. I had a day off from the gym but plan on going there today to do my upper body workout. My sister says that since my move I'm no longer buff so I have to get back before I go home in December so I can show off my guns and abs ;)
Ok so time for the o'natural in-your-face picture to see my skin progressing.. or hopefully doing so!!
